Hi All!
Welcome to Reality Bytes. A photographers eye view of life in Jersey, from one (or two) Australian Mums.
I have lived in Jersey since January 2011, after a life in the big city of Singapore. I am proud to call Perth, Western Australia home. I have also been fortunate enough to have lived in Sydney (on two separate occasions), Melbourne and also Canberra as a child growing up.
I have two gorgeous kiddies. Relaxy who will 5 in October, and Squeeler who was 2 in May. I also have a very awesome dog, and handsome Man, who works very hard for us all. I’m also super lucky that my Mum is here with us too.
My aim for this blog is to offer readers a look at Jersey through my eyes. Also, as an amateur Photographer willing to do anything to learn the art of Photography, Im also hoping I can provide many families of Jersey the opportunity to have their photos taken, while I learn.
I will have a regular guest contributor on the blog; Dea, whom I met in the first couple of weeks living in Jersey. She is also an Aussie from Melbourne, with two kids of her very own, who has lived in Jersey for 15 years with her Husband and her crazy cat. Together, we are both trying to learn to be great photographers. We both have different styles, but when together, we have found we gain more confidence with what we’re trying to achieve. We are both hoping to one day have a business in Photography, but won’t be doing that until our biggest critique is satisfied with our abilities. Ourselves.
