Welcome to My-ology

Welcome to My-ology. You can read all of my posts here.

I created Mummyology (yup, Im the boss lady) because I wanted a suitable showcase for the other lovely ladies who write here. They previously wrote their blogs on Mums in Jersey, which has been fantastic, but Im now streamlining that into a more local information based site. Im a bit in love with blogging and the blogosphere too, so the decision to create a brand spanking new blog was pretty easy to come to! Each of us have something very different to offer and we hope to collaborate to give our readers a fabulously diverse range of parenting and family focused *stuff*!

My-ology is a little bit of everything I love all rolled into one. Ill be writing about family life, natural and attachment parenting, Ill be sharing a little from other blog (I’m busy ALL the time!) Creative Playhouse, and Ill be discussing issues inspired by the Mums in Jersey facebook page

A little more about me – I have a 2 year old *beautiful* boy and a *gorgeous* baby girl. I’ve lived in Jersey for 3.5 years with my quiet, supportive and super-Dad other half – I miss my family lots, but Im a lot in love with this little island now and since moving ‘out west’ have become very settled in our quaint country cottage by the sea.

In addition to loving my children, other half, blogging, and island life I enjoy photography, art, horses, pretty things, reading, designing and make up. I have a BA in Performance Studies and an MA in the Arts. My employment history is largely in childcare, education and special needs, particularly children with autism – I miss this part of my life a lot, but believe I will find my way back there one day. 🙂 For now Im busy busy busy!

I hope you enjoy Mummyology – any feedback is always welcome!
